Love online really exists and some love stories can end up with a happy ending, just like what happened to my friend. It all started with Filipina dating, which happened a few years back. He was just looking for fun then, seeking for someone to befriend and maybe to hang out with for some time. He did not expect that the woman he will find will be the women that he would love spending the rest of his life with.
It may sound cheesy but fairytales like these really happen in real life and the advancement of online dating added more magic to it. Imagine, two people from different sides of the world ending up together? Before, that would rarely happen but today, it is a very likely situation. Despite the fact that many people claim that relationships have become more impersonal lately because online communication rules over actual get-togethers, some people see it the other way around.
In Filipina dating websites, people sign up because they want to meet a partner. However, not everyone gets to find their match. Oftentimes, people just come and go and after all the times spent in front of the computer, there is no one to end up with. That is because, even though these people are far apart, they still need to exert effort in trying to get to know each other and build up connection. Just like the regular dating, there is a stage wherein the couple would have to assess if they would like each other.
Online dating is not everything but it could be the start of something special, just like what my friend experienced.
